Space Invaders Giveaway

  1. Each person participating in this contest agrees by the act of participation to be bound by these rules and procedures, statutes, administrative rules and procedures of the Missouri Lottery.
  2. Entry into the “SPACE INVADERS™ Giveaway” is only available Aug. 24 – Aug. 28, 2026.
  3. Twenty winners will be announced on the Lottery’s social media pages on the drawing date, Aug. 31, 2026.
  4. Persons may enter by completing the entry form on ShortStack accessed via Missouri Lottery’s Facebook, X or Instagram page. 
  5. An approved entry will contain a response selecting one of the three available options on the ShortStack entry form: “Its iconic aliens”, “Its galactic gameplay”, “Its star-studded Scratchers ticket”
  6. Players can enter up to 10 times per email address and are limited to one win during this promotion.
  7. Persons must be at least 18 years old to enter and win.  Winners may be required to furnish proof of age.  
  8. Winners will be determined based on a random drawing. The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of entries received for the drawing. 
  9. Twenty winners and ten alternates will be drawn at random on the draw date. Winners will be announced before 4:30 p.m.
  10. Winners will be notified of their win via the email provided on their ShortStack entry form.
  11. In the event the Lottery is unable to conduct a drawing before 4:30 p.m. on the scheduled draw date, an announcement for a rescheduled drawing date will be made.
  12. Once notified, winners will have one week to claim their prize. If a winner does not claim their prize within that period, the next alternate drawn will be awarded the prize. The alternate will have three business days post-notification to claim, as will all other alternates thereafter.
  13. For contests that award Scratchers tickets: Tickets must be shipped to a residential Missouri address. If a winner lives out of state, they must arrange to have their prize shipped to a residential Missouri address or forfeit the prize.
  14. The winners’ names may be posted online through our social media outlets including Facebook, X, Instagram, our website and any other source deemed necessary by the Missouri Lottery.  
  15. The Missouri Lottery reserves the right to publish social media winners’ names for publicity purposes without any claim for broadcasting, internet, print, other rights or further compensation.
  16. The Missouri Lottery, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if any prize cannot be awarded as described due to unavailability or for any other reason. Additional restrictions and conditions specific to any particular prize will be disclosed to winners upon prize notification.
  17. The Missouri Lottery makes no implied warranties of any kind with respect to the safety, appearance or performance of any prize offered.
  18. In the event of a dispute arising out of these rules and procedures, a player’s sole remedy is limited to entry into another promotional drawing or event with prizes of similar value.
  19. Per Missouri Lottery Policy 2.4, employees are not eligible to play or participate in any Missouri Lottery promotion. This includes the immediate family of the Lottery employee living in the same household.
  20. This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, X or Instagram. Participants agree to a complete release of Facebook, X and Instagram.
