A Missouri Lottery player in Butler County claimed a $50,000 Powerball prize in the Lottery’s St. Louis regional office on March 27.

The winning ticket was purchased at Casey’s, 599 E. Pine St. in Poplar Bluff, and matched four of the five white-ball numbers, as well as the Powerball number in the Feb. 23 drawing.

The winning numbers that night were 5, 11, 23, 29 and 47, and the Powerball number was 6.

In FY25, players in Butler County won more than $8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $785,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $2 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
