A Missouri Lottery player walked out of G&W Country Mart, 1000 E. Main St. in Warsaw, with a “$1,000,000 Money Blast” Scratchers ticket that she would later discover held the game’s first top $1 million prize.  

“I had a winning ticket to turn in,” the winner shared about her lucky purchase. “So I stopped at the vending machine while I was there.”

After she got home and began playing the ticket, she was excited when the first spot she uncovered revealed a prize. But it didn’t end there.

“I was happy with the $50,000 in the first spot!” she laughed. “When all the numbers on the top row were winners, that’s when I called my husband over, and we scratched the rest of the ticket together!”

They were both shocked when she won all 20 prizes for a total of $1 million.

“I woke up in the middle of the night and thought maybe I had been dreaming! I even got up and recounted it!” she giggled. “I’ll sleep a lot better tonight!”

So far “$1,000,000 Money Blast” players have won over $7.8 million in prizes. More than $25.9 million remain unclaimed, including an additional $1 million top prize and three $100,000 prizes.

In FY25, players in Benton County won more than $4.4 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $344,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $739,000 in Lottery proceeds went to educational programs in the county.
