A Missouri Lottery player said she is feeling  “very blessed“ after uncovering a $50,000 prize on a “Millionaire Riches” Scratchers ticket she purchased at Cameron Smoke & Liquor, 318 S. Walnut St., in Cameron. The win came after claiming a small prize on another ticket.
“I had turned in a winning ticket and picked this one,” the winner began.

She was caught off guard when she scanned the ticket and realized how much she had won.

“I was like, ‘Holy Moly! Oh, wow. OK. I guess I’m not going to throw this one away!’” she laughed. “I think everyone in the store knew I won from my reaction.”

So far, “Millionaire Riches” players have won more than $16 million in prizes since the $50 game was released on Feb. 5. Currently over $238.5 million in prizes remain unclaimed, including 14 top prizes of $1 million and 34 additional $50,000 prizes.

In FY25 players in Clinton County won more than $2.9 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $282,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $1 million in Lottery proceeds went to educational programs in the county.
