A Missouri Lottery player won a $100,000 top prize on an “Extreme Green” Scratchers ticket purchased at 87th Street Market, 9709 E. 87th St., in Raytown.

The win marks the third prize of $50,000 or more won on a Lottery ticket purchased in Raytown since January. It’s the 15th such prize in Jackson County so far this year. The average amount of those prizes is over $169,000.

“Extreme Green” players have won over $8.9 million in prizes since the game began on March 31. Over $5.2 million remain in unclaimed prizes, including another top prize of $100,000.

Players who purchased tickets in Jackson County last fiscal year won more than $109.8 million in total Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers received more than $9.8 million in commissions and bonuses, and education programs in the county received more than $22 million in appropriated Lottery proceeds.
