Lottery Sends $25 Million to Public Education

The Missouri Lottery today sent $25 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for education. The total transfer of $25,039,464 was the first in Fiscal Year 2013 and was generated from June ticket sales.

Since the Lottery began in 1986, it has generated more than $4.3 billion for the state and public education. Programs funded in FY12 include the A+ Scholarship Program, the Foundation Program and Access Missouri. Scratchers Tickets Set to Expire

Several Scratchers games are scheduled to expire by the end of summer. They are:

• Game 828, “Wild Doubler,” – expires Aug. 26;
• Game 833, “$5,000 Payday,” – expires Aug. 26;
• Game 839, “Bonus Crossword,” – expires Aug. 26;
• Game 851, “5X The Fortune,” – expires Aug. 26;
• Game 854, “Holiday Treasures,” – expires Aug. 26;
• Game 855, “Silver Bells,” – expires Aug. 26;
• Game 856, “Nutcracker Cash,” – expires Aug. 26;
• Game 857, “Candy Cane Cash,” – expires Aug. 26;
• Game 858, “Secret Santa,” – expires Aug. 26.
